After a few wild weeks of weather, everything came together for a great weekend. Bringing together people from across the community, we had competitors from across the East Coast. A huge thanks to all the volunteers, business partners and competitors.

On behalf of everyone at Newcastle SUP Club, we would like to thank the NSW Office of Sport for the amazing grant for a defibrillator for our club. With the AED Grant Application came excellent training from Surf Lifesaving NSW.

Here’s President Steve presenting our donation to the Scotts Head Primary School to support their surf awareness program, Waves. It’s the second time we have donated to the school and we plan on making it an annual event!

On behalf of the Newcastle Stand Up Paddle Club, we would like to thank all the competitors, volunteers, family and friends who made Scotts Head 2021 special. It is a weekend that will last in our memories forever. A very special thanks to all at Scotts Head - a heartfelt thank you!
